Work Meeting of PMU Representatives with the Ivan Vazov National Library in Plovdiv Team

A work meeting between the Glob@l Libraries - Bulgaria Program Management Unit and the management and team of the Ivan Vazov National Library in Plovdiv was held on 12 November. The main accent of the meeting was on the current activities under the program, the commitments of both sides regarding their effective implementation and the work schedule for carrying out the specific agreements.

As part of the meeting Natalia Georgieva, Public Relations Specialist in the Glob@l Libraries - Bulgaria Program Management Unit, presented the opportunities provided by advocacy activities for attracting the local communities towards the services which libraries provide to users, and Diana Andreeva, Training Specialist, presented the training program and made an overview of the planned training component activities. Daniel Dakovsky, Field Coordinator, informed the attendees on the activities regarding the delivery and installation of the ICT equipment.

The lively discussions during the meeting showed that long-term and hard work is due both for the PMU and for the team of the Ivan Vazov National Library in Plovdiv for implementing the main objective of the program - access to information, knowledge, communication, electronic content and services for the community and citizens of Plovdiv.
