The Glob@l Libraries - Bulgaria Program Announces
Grants Scheme for Funding of Innovative Projects (GSFIP)
The primary objective of the GSFIP is to support the development and provision of innovative with regard to the local community e-services by the public libraries and their partners.An “e-service” is a service that is new for the community, based on ICT and catering to needs at the local level in various thematic areas.
The overall planned GSFIP budget totals BGN 450,000.
The GSFIP is open for applications
from all Glob@l Libraries – Bulgaria Program target libraries.
The applying target library acts as lead organization for the project.
In order to ensure sustainability of the GSFIP results, it is mandatory to form a partnership for the project formulation, application and project implementation.
Projects to be funded fall in two categories:

Information activities regarding the GSFIP:
Six webinars for the target libraries and their partners to explain and promote the GSFIP mechanism - in the period 25 February – 11 March 2013
The webinars shall be organized and conducted by the Program Management Unit (PMU). The schedule of the webinars shall be published on the Glob@l Libraries - Bulgaria Program portal.
