Contingent on further funding, the Sofia-based Programme Management Unit (PMU) is seeking to employ
qualified individual for full-time position
1. Information Technology Specialist - REF. ITS - GL
Responsibilities: The ITS is a member of the IT Department at the PMU. The ITS assumes responsibilities, as assigned, within the program's ICT component: procurement, installation and maintenance of ICT equipment; set-up of cabling and networks at the target libraries; upgrades and technical maintenance of the program's web portal.
Requirements: strong practical understanding of ICT issues; technical knowledge of Internet connectivity, computer networks and configurations, hardware and software requirements; experience in project management and implementation; sound analytical, planning and drafting skills; excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation; excellent command of Bulgarian and very good command of English; availability for in-country travel; previous work on donor-funded projects is an advantage; university degree in computer science or related.
